"Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change." - Brené Brown

Who I Am

I am Dr. Cindy Rollins, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Prescott, Arizona. I specialize in child, adolescent and adult therapy and consultation.

I also provide comprehensive psychological testing and assessment services.

I provide services for:

  • General Mental Health
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Medical Psychology/Health Issues

I have been working in Mental Health for almost a decade, participating in a variety of settings from Hospital Medical Centers to Substance Abuse Treatment Centers.

I received both my Master’s Degree and Doctorate of Clinical-Community Psychology (Psy.D) from the University of La Verne and completed my Internship/Residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Department of Psychology and Behavioral Medicine.

I have taught and supervised graduate psychology students in assessment and advanced therapy skills and provided consultation for multidisciplinary teams of Pediatricians, Substance Abuse Counselors, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, and School Educators. I currently contract with treatment centers to provide psychological evaluations. I have been a part time faculty at Prescott College and am currently an off-campus mentor at Prescott College.

I am a solution-focused psychologist who integrates evidence based practices into the therapy sessions. I use an integrative therapeutic approach, often pulling from humanistic and attachment theories to provide a strengths-based framework that focuses on increasing each individual’s awareness of his or her inner resiliency in overcoming challenges.

I use a variety of techniques in therapy like:

  • Dialogue
  • Interpretation
  • Cognitive reframing
  • Self-awareness exercises
  • Self-monitoring experiments
  • Visualization
  • Journal keeping
  • Workbooks
  • Drawing
  • Reading psychologically specific books

With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Student Intern, Andrea Annibale, M.S. is now providing mental health counseling under Dr. Rollins' supervision for $25 per session. If you are interested, please call (928) 458-5817.
